Vidyarthi Devo Bhava’ is a transformative initiative that has been dedicated to empower underprivileged girls through education, character building, and holistic development for the last 10 years. ‘Sponsor a Child’ is an educational programme initiated for girls from poor economic backgrounds, with no parents or with a single parent.
They are identified and adopted when in Class V and supported till they complete their education. Every kind of assistance is provided to them – books, stationery, fees, clothing and residential facility when required. A supportive learning environment has helped many students to pursue higher studies. We are happy to say that a few of them have completed their post-graduation and are leading financially independent lives..
They are also given lessons on values and ethics.
